Class Experience

In this ongoing class, students will explore a new topic and learn new information each week as they listen to a different book in the "Weird but True Facts" series.  As we read the stories, the students will be asked questions to check their comprehension of the material.  Students will also be invited to share their own experiences related to the weekly theme.  Students are welcome to drop in at any time based on their interest in the weekly topic.

 All kids can learn.  It's my pleasure as a teacher to get the opportunity to help your child learn.  I have 31 years of varied classroom teaching experience including preschool, kindergarten, first, third, and fifth grades. I also have two years of experience as an online ESL teacher.  I have my Masters of Science in Elementary Education from Southwest Missouri State University.    I love teaching kids!   I have a passion and a love in my heart for helping kids.  

Outside of the classroom,  I enjoy spending time with my family, playing the piano, singing,  and reading.
