Class Experience
Private yoga class is an opportunity to join a personalized yoga session with a focus on exactly what the learner needs :) Each yoga session will be specifically tailored to the learner's unique interests and will provide them with improved muscular strength and flexibility, self-regulation tools, and relaxation techniques in a fun and creative atmosphere. This class is for students who want to develop their understanding of their body + mind connection or have a better understanding of yoga in general. It is ideal for learners who benefit from individualized instruction. In private yoga sessions, we work together to understand the learner's goals (I will also reach out to parents prior to class to discuss). Learners will practice different yoga poses for increased strength and flexibility, as well as exploring different breathing techniques to relax the body and refocus the mind. Depending on what the learner needs, we can focus specifically on breathing, balance, coordination and also explore topics like building self trust, learning healthy ways to cope with stress and manage emotions, increase feeling focused and increase a feeling of calm. Learners will be encouraged to participate in the lesson by sharing their experiences, their intention and share if they'd like. Private classes offer the unique opportunity for the learner to ask questions and really deepen their understanding of the significance of the practice, on and off the mat. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, would like to request longer or shorter lessons or a special package!

Parental Guidance
Parents, kindly be advised that yoga is a physical activity and there are potential hazards (including, but not limited to, needing an open work space and preferably a water bottle). Although yoga is very safe, injuries can occur if not properly supervised. Please be sure that your child is prepared to follow instructions and has an open, hazard free space to practice yoga from. A bit about me~
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher and Kids Yoga Teacher from New Jersey. I have been sharing yoga with children and teens around the world since 2015, from hosting kids yoga camps in Bali and the Philippines to teaching in after school programs in NYC public schools. Recently, I transitioned my love of teaching yoga online and I am really excited to be able to share yoga and mindfulness in this way!
My mission is to prepare learners for life off the mat. Therefore, my teaching style and classes integrate elements of mindfulness, gratitude, character development and creativity. I love working with children of all ages and keeping my classes playful and full of energy! I also love to use songs and games to introduce learners to yoga warm ups and poses. My goal is to help students improve their flexibility and coordination, but also learn tools to focus and find a sense of inner calm.
I am passionate about supporting students in gaining confidence in their abilities by developing patience and learning to use positive affirmations. I believe that sparking curiosity in learners and inviting them to participate in their learning by co-creating yoga poses and sharing their unique ideas helps them to really enjoy the learning experience.
