Private voice lessons will provide students with the basic foundations of singing technique along with an introduction to vocal performance, repertoire, beginner music theory and music appreciation.

What we will cover in private voice lessons: Vocal exercises: Warm-ups, breathing, and pitch accuracy exercises help improve vocal range, tone quality, and diction Repertoire: Students work on songs that are appropriate for their skill level Singing posture: Students learn proper alignment, such as keeping their feet shoulder-width apart, back straight, and shoulders down and back Breath work: Students learn to control their breath for proper phonation Stage Presence and Performance: Students will learn to gain confidence in themselves and performing in front of others. Artistic Expression: Students will analyze and find artistic expression through age appropriate song lyrics

Students will need a bluetooth speaker. It will be helpful if the student had an external microphone to plug into their computer, but this is not necessary.
