Class Experience
With one-on-one teaching instruction your child will get exactly what they need to succeed in Kindergarten or First Grade. This class will be tailored around the individual students needs and what they need to refine their skills in their grade. Each week will be geared toward the individual learner and build on previous weeks material. We can work on letters and sounds, numbers and counting, shapes and colors, beginning and end sounds, CVC words, sight words, addition, subtraction, sounding...
Students will learn basic Kindergarten skills based on Kindergarten and First Grade curriculum. Letters, sounds, numbers, counting, addition, subtraction, word problems, shapes, colors, CVC words, sight words, beginning and end sounds, reading comprehension, blends, phonics skills, etc. This will be tailored around each individual students needs and parents request.
I am a highly certified teacher who has taught Kindergarten for three years, and first grade for one year. I have tutored children one on one to help them refine those skills taught in class.
No homework unless parent requests extra work for child after class time.
Each student will need something to write with in class, whether it be a white board and marker, pencil and paper, or colored pencils.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I can assess children if requested.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
