In these 3x tutoring sessions, sibling learners will engage in German conversational topics to practice speaking, listening, asking and answering questions, and providing information in the target language.

The goal of these private German sessions is to determine the level/understanding of both learners through questioning, vocabulary activities, interactions with me and each other in the target language. Session 1: including but not limited to names, introductions, greetings, alphabet, non-personal fictional examples including created telephone numbers, license plates numbers and letters, answering and asking questions Session 2: including but not limited to vocabulary about family and friends, answering questions about others, recycling of numbers and adding larger numbers, adjectives to describe themselves and other family members, colors, opposites Session 3: including but not limited to the calendar--days of the week, seasons, weather, months, fictional characters' birthdays, time
Learning Goals
Students will improve their conversational German skills.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am an educator who strongly believes in the art of spoken and written communication. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and German, a Master‘s degree in elementary education and writing, and obtained my K-12 teaching certification in Pennsylvania where I taught for almost 15 years before moving overseas and retiring. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe once said, “Those who know nothing of foreign languages know nothing of their own.”
I am thrilled to offer courses in Outschool that provide opportunities to hone each learner's art of communication. Both of my areas of expertise in English and in German showcase the importance of language learning in many capacities. With my high energy level and positivity woven together with tried and true methodologies and best practices, each Outschool session will showcase the learners' abilities to shine and succeed in both the written and the spoken language--and HOLD ONTO YOUR HANDSCHUHE because we'll have a lot of fun doing it!
I may love to read, write, and shop for school supplies, but my greatest joy is being a wife and mother!
