Private Tutoring for 3rd and 4th Grade Learners

This ongoing course is a private tutoring course. I will work with you and your 3rd or 4th grade student to develop a tutoring plan to fit your needs. Areas of tutoring can include:
- Math
- Science
- Social Studies
- Reading
- Writing
If you would like more than one topic to be covered (such as half of the time reading and half of the time math) that can be arranged as well. 
The tutoring sessions will begin with a quick 5 minute review of what was taught the previous week, followed by hands- on work related to the subject area, finished with a quick 5 minute closing activity. Examples of hands- on work can include: working with manipulatives for math, using highlighters and sticky notes for analyzing and annotating texts, following the Scientific Method to create ongoing science experiments, utilizing maps and globes for social studies, and more. 
Teaching will be catered to your child due to the personalized nature of the course and after each course you will receive written feedback on what we worked on, what your child still needs support in, and what your child has successfully mastered. Additionally, I request that you please send me the information you want covered in class (ex. two- digit by two- digit multiplication, using text structures, etc.) at least two days in advance. if I do not receive this information, I will review what your learner tells me they did in school that week with most of our work done on the white board.
Please note that due to the customization of the class, you may request a specific day and time for your tutoring to be held. Simply send me a message so we can work out a time!
