I have been a classroom teacher in a variety of settings and locations (including public school, Title I school, private school, and teaching in Guatemala and Nicaragua). I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade, with the bulk of my experience being in 3rd and 4th grade, though I must be well- versed in 2nd grade concepts as well due to needing to know what knowledge my 3rd grade students came to me with. I am very familiar with the concepts taught in these grades and my students continuously perform well both in class and on standardized assessments. 

Homework Offered
Students will be given one homework assignment each week related to their subject area to provide additional support upon request of the parent. They will receive feedback prior to the next class .
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Learners will not be given summative assessments unless specifically requested by the parents. After each class, the parent will receive a detailed email explaining what was covered in class that day, what their child still needs support in, and what their child has mastered.
