1 hour per week. The student will have practice work before the next lesson. The teacher will help set these goals.Class Experience

Beginner - Intermediate Level
These are private one on one lessons. The student will learn simple pieces of music based on their preferences. The teacher will meet with the student to teach reading skills and help build confidence in playing. A keyboard or piano is necessary and a dry erase marker. The teacher will provide the necessary music an websites for learning once lessons have started. Ms. Jaime has a very laid back approach to teaching and encourages students in a fun, calm environment. Students will need some time to practice each week to optimize learning.

Hello Friends! My name is Jaime. I have been teaching music to children and youth for many years! It truly makes my heart happy to teach and share my musical gifts with others. I have a degree in Music Education and run a local music studio, Little Maestros, in addition to teaching on Outschool.
My teaching style is laid back as I want my leaners to feel at ease while they learn. It’s my responsibility to adapt my teaching to the student, not the other way around. I have a great deal of experience teaching neurodiverse learners, who need learning modifications. (Music works magic).
A few fun personal things about me: I love to sing, play outside (especially running and hiking) and have 2 rescue dogs.
