Class Experience

Hello!

Welcome to my course of Private Piano Lessons. In this course I will offer a private lesson meeting your child at their current Piano Playing level. This course is a thorough overview of how to play the piano and read music. Students will become proficient performers as well as skilled musicians understanding music theory terminology. I will cover all elements of music theory including ear training, rhythm, and how to love the music!

I use the Bastien Piano Basics method books through these virtual lessons. These method books have online quizzes, games, activities, and fun facts that correspond with each specific lesson. This allows the students to learn music through multiple outlets all in one setting. I integrate multiple ways of study to ensure the students do not get bored of the routine instruction then practice, instruction then practice. The Bastien method is my favorite method to use for teacher. However, I am familiar with the Fabre, Carol Matz, Thompson, and Afred methods books as well. I am more than willing to utilize the piano books that your student has already purchased.

My courses will cover every detail beginning with how to sit at the piano, up to the advanced levels of performing in Piano Competitions.

I have designed this specific course to align with school schedules typically running from September-June. You will need to enroll in 2 semesters to last the calendar school year equaling 38 total lessons.
