Class Experience
Piano Lessons for All Levels (Ages 5 - 10 Elementary Schoolers) is a class offered for any students between the age of 5 to 10 that are interested in learning piano. - Students will meet once a week. - All lessons are One to One. - All levels of playing are welcomed! (Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced) - Depending on the student's background in music/piano, the textbooks and repertory will be assigned accordingly. - Students may provide pieces of music that they would like to learn. - Parents/Guardians are encouraged to sit in on lessons for younger students. - FULL SIZE(88Keys) or at least 61 KEYS electronic keyboard (weighted keys preferred over non-weighted keys) or a piano (upright/grand preferred) will be REQUIRED! *Please be able to put the camera on the side of the keyboard/piano to capture the hands/arms/back position* Students may join this class even if they have taken lessons previously and would like to reinforce some basics. I am a flexible teacher with many years of experience! I am open to modifying lessons to gear towards the students/parents' desires. In the end, I want all of us to have fun and enjoy playing the piano!

Cancellation Policy
* No-Shows: Still charged; no makeup lessons.
* Student cancels with less than 24-hours’ notice: Still charged, no makeup lessons.
* Student cancels with 24 hours to 6 days’ notice (notify me on Outschool): Eligible for a make-up lesson, perhaps a refund
Teacher cancellations are generally rare. If I cancel for illness or other reason, I will offer to reschedule or refund your lesson or service.
Supply List
FULL SIZE(88Keys) or at least 61 KEYS electronic keyboard (weighted/non-weighted) or a piano (upright/grand) will be REQUIRED. An acoustic piano is preferred over an electronic keyboard. Weighted keyboard is preferred over a non-weighted keyboard.

My name Yearim Leslie Yi, but you can call me by my middle name, Leslie!
I teach Piano and Music Theory for many levels and for all ages.
I am a Korean-American classical pianist living in New York City. I showed interest in classical music in the early age that has led to studying the piano at the age of five and violin at the age of nine.
I pursued my master's degree in piano performance at the Manhattan School of Music, after graduating from Florida State University with my bachelor's degree in piano performance. I made my first Carnegie Debut in April, 2019 and actively perform as a solo and chamber musician at prestigious music festivals and institutes over the States. Throughout my college and graduate school years, I've been working as a piano, violin and music theory teacher.
