Description
Class Experience
How to play the piano; read music; finger numbers; play with proper technique, and a comprehensive understanding of music theory.

Learners will have assignments in each book weekly that they spend one week preparing in between lessons.
We will use a set of Faber Piano Adventures — the primer level to include lesson, technique, theory and performance — to get a solid foundation in playing the piano. It is the first four landscape purple books listed on there and you will need them in hand before beginning this class. I will assist you with ordering them once you sign up for the class. The complete set usually costs less than $25 before shipping. In addition to the books, the learner will need a notebook, pen and pencil. Don’t forget the stickers!
I will assess whether or not the assignments are learned to a degree of moving on (I am merciful in this area!).
