Advanced Level
If you're between the ages of 12 and 18 and you are looking for regular math homework help twice weekly, this is your class. Join me and learn quick tips for faster fraction operations, memory helpers for common math struggles, different ways to do things like discover number factors and produce multiples.

Examples of topics that will be covered might include: quadratic equations, linear functions, arithmetic and geometric sequences, use of graphing technology, applications to problems in contemporary physics and chemistry.

Students are expected to bring specific math questions to cover. It is recommended that students bring at least three questions to review during the session. Each session will focus on understanding the problem, deciding the best approach to solve the problem, reviewing the solution and its procedures, and then assessing if the student has retained the methods learned.

Whether you are homeschooled or part of a bricks-and-mortar school community, bring your math challenges to the class and we will tackle them together!

With degrees in Math, Music and Education, I have been teaching students for over thirty years.

I teach classes that offer learners a chance to experience the creative side of math by putting theory into practice to design things like dragons, anime characters, castles and more. My classes are activity-based and encourage students to learn through hands-on projects that mimic real life math-in-action done by architects, engineers and designers.
