Class Experience
In this one time class, your child will have the opportunity to meet with me 1:1. This class will focus on kindergarten readiness skills, with an emphasis on Reading. In this class, we will do the following: * practice identifying and writing letters * read and write words in different word families * identify and create rhyming words * read and spell CVC ( ex cat, log, sip, hen, mud..) words These private tutoring sessions will be engaging, interactive and very child friendly. If there is a specific skill you would prefer I work on, you may request that after enrolling.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

My name is Maggie Waybright and I live in Atlanta, GA, USA! I am a mother of a 5 year old and a 2 year old. I received my Masters in Education from Brenau University. I have been teaching Kindergarten for the last 12 years. Through my experience as a mom and a teacher, my passion is developing a love of learning. I find that this is best done through learning disguised as play! When children feel connected and engaged to their teacher and peers, magic happens! I love building the foundation of early literacy! Giving students a strong foundation will set them up to be super learners throughout their school journey!
I plan to offer a wide variety of classes focusing on letters and sounds, rhyming, word families and sight words!
