In this half hour private class, we focus on building French conversational skills and confidence in a fun and interactive way that can be tailored to each student's interests.
Class experience
In one-on-one tutoring sessions, I will work individually with learners to build their conversational skills and confidence in French in a fun and engaging manner. Google Slides and realia will be used to enhance lesson materials. If students have specific topics they would like to learn about or discuss in French, if I am given at least 24 hours notice, I will work to tailor the lesson according to their interests or needs. Students will gain confidence in the French language, working on their pronunciation, grammar, reading, and spoken fluency in a fun, personalized environment.
I am an experienced online second-language teacher, with over 6 years under my belt teaching ESL to young learners. Before the pandemic, I had been living in France for over 7 years. I earned my Bachelors of Arts with a French major. In 2017, I completed a Masters in Design in France, conducted fully in French, and spent six and a half years living in France. I am bilingual and believe in an immersion-based classroom approach, using as little English as possible. I have been teaching French on Outschool for 3 years.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
