Intermediate Level
This course is designed for older students wanting to improve both conversational and academic English. The course is taught by a TESOL certified American English speaker with a Master's of Teaching English. The course uses a structured curriculum containing grammar, speaking/pronunciation, reading fluency, comprehension, and writing. There is a workbook provided in which students can complete practice work after each lesson. International times available! The reading/discussion materials are appropriate for ages 10+. Topics discussed are future careers, relationships, reality TV, hopes and fears, famous people, history, etc. Every lesson includes reading comprehension, conversation/discussion, vocabulary, and grammar. Many lessons include writing as well. This course is ongoing, however the classes do slowly increase in complexity. Students may join and leave at any time. Each week is a new topic of study. International times available. Students at an intermediate level can: 1. understand the main points of clear texts on familiar topics in standard language 2. manage most situations on a trip to places where English is used 3. produce simple, organized texts about familiar topics 4. describe experiences, events, wishes, opinions, and discuss plans

Parental Guidance
Topics such as movies, celebrities, historical figures, emotions, interests, etc. will be discussed. Conversation will be high interest, yet kept at an age appropriate level for learners.
