Private Drum Lessons for All Skill Levels

In these private tutoring sessions, we will cover all the fundamentals, techniques, and general musicianship skills needed in order to play and create your favorite kinds of music. Since each students skill level varies greatly, I will need to do an initial assessment before determining an exact curriculum for each particular student.
I generally focus on technical ideas in the beginning of the class, such as rudiments, snare pieces, and coordination exercises, then lead into more musical based ideas as the class progresses. This can be anything from studying the greats that came before us, learning their music, working on your own original music, soloing, showmanship, or any other subjects the student wishes to cover.
Since this is a private one on one class, student participation is HIGHLY encouraged. Since we're learning an art form, understanding what the students end goal and what their motivations are is very important to the process. I will ask a lot of questions regarding what kind of music the student wants to play so I can tailor my curriculum accordingly.
If you have no idea what kind of music you want to play, that's totally fine. A lot of my students don't have a strong artistic direction yet, and i'll act as a guide to help you find yours!
