This class is a weekly one on one painting lesson with a professional artist. I have spent many years in both public and private teaching positions and have taught students as young as 5 and old as 60. I specialize in teaching oil painting, but I also do acrylic and occasionally watercolor painting. Listed below are example subjects that may be taught during lessons: Week of August 1-Choosing Paint/Color Mixing Week of August 8-Mixing Skin Colors Week of August 15-Landscape Design Week of August 22-Painting Still Lifes
Learning Goals
-Students will learn how to select the right drawing utensil for the job
-Students will gain a fundamental understanding of shading
-Students will gain an understanding of color theory
-Students will learn how to accurately paint what they see

Supply List
-A full set of either acrylic, oil or watercolor paints -A full set of either acrylic, oil or watercolor brushes -Material to paint on such as watercolor paper, canvas, gessoed boards etc.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
