In this private lesson, multi-day art camp, the learner will choose any 5 art classes from my class list for 5 live sessions. We will be learning to draw the subject, background and use watercolor or pastel techniques to paint it. We will break down the subject into simple shapes and then refine our drawing. Watercolor painting techniques will cover wet on dry, dry brush, wet on wet, lifting color for mistakes and effects, washes and layers as needed for the project. Oil pastel classes will include techniques such as blending, layering and texturizing paintings. 

Lessons will be in a "work with me format" with visual and audio step-by-step instructions. I will show my finished work at the start of class as an example along with the supplies needed to create it. Art freedom and fun will be emphasized in a relaxed setting. The learner will be encouraged to add their creative personal touches to their work. I will offer a sharing event at the end of the class and/or I will encourage the learner to upload their finished work to the classroom after it dries to share with me.
