An primary professional teacher will guide your child to build their Literacy skills. We can work on their phonics, reading, writing or spelling depending on your child’s needs. Classes will be personalised towards the needs of your child and any areas they need to build their confidence with. 

The teacher will communicate with parents before meeting your little ones in class to find out more about your child and their learning needs. I am passionate to help your child to build their confidence and achieve any learning goals they are working towards. 

Phonics support: An example of a phonics class is that we will practise  recognition of letters and sounds including digraphs and phonics blends. 

Children will learn to sound out and read words using fun games such as I spy, pirate phonics or alien words. We will also learn sight words that your child is working on. 

Reading/Writing support: 
Your child will be supported with their reading fluency and comprehension skills as we work through reading part of a story or a reading comprehension together. Your child will be encouraged to talk about what they have read to demonstrate understanding. 

We can practise writing simple sentences together and work on sentence structure. 

Teaching will be broken down into manageable sections and the teacher will personalise your child’s learning to meet their interests and needs.

Refund policy important information: 

If a student is more than 10 minutes late, it will be considered a missed class, per Outschool policy and the class is not eligible for a refund. If the student needs to cancel class, I will reschedule if possible or issue a refund, as long as I am notified more than 24 hours in advance. Exceptions may be made in emergency situations. 

If I as a teacher have a scheduling conflict, I will either contact you to reschedule for a different time or issue a refund.
