US Grade 3 - 10
This class is designed to support each learner in reaching their full potential. This course is extremely interactive, and one in which will provide each learner with limitless opportunities to develop and strengthen fundamental writing and editing skills. We will focus on punctuation, grammar, syntax, spelling, thesis statements, formats, and different types of essays. I have extensive experience in essay writing, and I feel absolutely delighted to bring my passion and experience to my classes! Aside from being on the receiving end and marking hundreds of essays over the years, I was also an English and History Research Assistant at the University of Western Ontario. My experience, along with my love for learning, writing, and helping each student reach their full potential, had led me to offering this class. This course is designed to provide learners with limitless opportunities to become comfortable with writing essays. Learning should always be wholesome and fun, and I am truly dedicated to creating authentic and engaging learning experiences for your learner!

I am a certified elementary and high school teacher whom absolutely loves teaching! I have an Honour's Specialization in History, French Language and Literature, and a degree in Education. I have extensively studied language acquisition and metacognition, and feel very privileged to bring this knowledge to each of my classes. My heart is learning and teaching! I have had the privilege to teach all grade levels, and have taught in both Canada and London, United Kingdom. Not only do I teach in the classroom (virtual, nowadays!) but I also teach in the dojo. Karate has been a humongous part of my life for 21 years, and it brings me so much joy to share my love for martial arts with learners from around the world!
I am fluent in English, French and Greek! From a young age, I have absolutely adored studying languages. I really excelled in environments, which were authentic in nature and allowed for me to learn in a way that was hands-on and fun. As a result, I always ensure that my classes are super engaging and an experience that will aid in confidence building!
I believe that education and learning must go far beyond the four walls of the classroom. It is a time in which all students should have the opportunity to recognize just how incredible they are in an exciting, and nurturing environment. In doing so, I hope to help students become leaders and grow their interpersonal and intrapersonal skills! As Plato said, there is a genius within every single one of us, and I am absolutely dedicated to helping others reach their full potential!
In my personal time, I love to read, write, travel, garden, listen to music (and have a dance party at the same time) and spend time with my dear family!
