US Grade 2 - 6
In this ongoing course your Happy Camper will be immersed in a seven-level primary series in American English with an ESL Instructor. This ongoing class is formatted so that your learner can come and go freely as these classes do not build upon each other. Each week covers a different scope and sequence. The scope and sequence for each class has vocabulary, grammar, sentence patterns and activities. Lessons and activities are focused on simple, achievable goals that give your learner confidence and encourage a positive attitude toward English language learning. 


Happy Campers 3:
Unit One
Your learner will be immersed in numbers 10-100 and vocabulary words centered around family members.
During classtime we will be using sentence patterns that are built around the vocabulary words learned. Conversational skills will be strengthened using both vocabulary and grammar activities. 

Unit Two
The vocabulary for this class are the months of the year and ordinal numbers. Ex: January, February, March, and so on. Ordinal numbers 1st-31st. 
During classtime we will be using sentence patterns that are built around the vocabulary words learned. Conversational skills will be strengthened using both vocabulary and grammar activities. 

Unit Three
The vocabulary for this class are times of day/adverbs of time. Ex: in the morning, in the evening, in the afternoon. We will be using vocabulary for daily routines. Ex: get up, eat breakfast, go to school, eat lunch, eat dinner, go to bed. 
During classtime we will be using sentence patterns that are built around the vocabulary words learned. Conversational skills will be strengthened using both vocabulary and grammar activities. 

Unit Four
The vocabulary for this class are sports and at home. Ex: baseball, basketball, football, golf, ping pong and so on. At home examples are listen to music, talk on the phone, watch TV, take pictures and so on. 
During classtime we will be using sentence patterns that are built around the vocabulary words learned. Conversational skills will be strengthened using both vocabulary and grammar activities. 

Unit Five: 
The vocabulary for this class are at the park and chores. For example: climb trees, have a picnic, play ball, play on the swings and so on. Chores include, clean, wash the dishes, sweep the floor, take out the trash.  
During classtime we will be using sentence patterns that are built around the vocabulary words learned. Conversational skills will be strengthened using both vocabulary and grammar activities. 

Unit Six: 
The vocabulary for this class are clothing and at the beach. For example, pants, shorts, jeans, shirts and at the beach are swimming, flying a kite, building a sandcastle and so on. 
During classtime we will be using sentence patterns that are built around the vocabulary words learned. Conversational skills will be strengthened using both vocabulary and grammar activities.

Unit Seven: 
The vocabulary for this class are party food and party time. For example, cake, chips, sandwiches, candy, juice.  
During classtime we will be using sentence patterns that are built around the vocabulary words learned. Conversational skills will be strengthened using both vocabulary and grammar activities. 

Unit Eight: 
The vocabulary for this class are abilities and verbs. For example, draw, hop, paint, play the guitar.
During classtime we will be using sentence patterns that are built around the vocabulary words learned. Conversational skills will be strengthened using both vocabulary and grammar activities.
Learning Goals
Each class will have vocabulary, reading and writing activities. This class is interactive and will give your learner opportunities to use the skills learned during class time.
