Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this ongoing ESL course, students develop their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. During our class, I will incorporate activity sheets along with fun tools like flashcard, videos, games, pictures, and much more fun and interactive activities. Games and songs are regular features in every class , making learning a whole lot more enjoyable. I'll be screen-sharing to access the curriculum lesson slides, making it super easy for them to participate and engage in class. If you have What will be covered each week? I have teaching experience with different backgrounds, ages, and cultures. I have 8 years of experience teaching ESL, Italian, and Science in elementary schools. I am in my third year teaching at Milwaukee Area Technical College as an ESL Instructor.
In the ESL class students will work with and strengthen their English language skills, especially in the context of speaking and listening although you will also have many opportunities to practice and improve your English listening and speaking skills. Vocabulary expansion will be an important focus in this class because a broader vocabulary makes it much easier for you to communicate in English.
I have a bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages (Italian and English) and graduated with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction specialist from UWM. I am continuing my education for a PhD in Urban Education at UWM. I hold a lifetime license for ESL (k-12) and World Languages ( Italian and Albanian language) I love languages and I have a passion for teaching languages. I know that English is the key to so many opportunities. I love working with students and seeing them grow.Reviews
