Private 1:1 30-Min Tutoring With Mrs. Rachel (Twice/Week) This is a private 1:1 tutoring time with Mrs. Rachel. It covers literacy (letter recognition, letter-sound, sight word, CVC words, rhyme, word family), math (numbers, counting, shape, color, pattern, addition, subtraction, sorting), reading (reading & discussion), and writing (writing sentences, paragraphs, writing structure). Based on the individual student's level and needs, lessons will be uniquely designed. I am a certified Special Education teacher and have 10+ years of teaching English Language Learners. I can work with you in learning your child's needs and finding the best ways to support the child at your child's level. Before the class begins, I will be working with the parent to understand individual students' needs and wants. It will determine how the class will be set up and what kind of materials will be provided and used. My teaching style is to make learning a fun time for students. I try to understand each student's interests so I can use that in my lesson to increase motivation. The student will be encouraged to bring his/her own toys to the class which will be used as a part of learning. Class schedule 5 min - greeting & review 23 min - lesson 2 min - wrap up
