Then the students will read short stories about princesses and unicorns. The students will identify the past tense verbs in the passages. The students will also answer comprehension questions using past tense verbs. The students will practice using past tense verbs in provided sentences about princesses and unicorns. The students will end class by creating their own sentences with past tense verbs based on provided pictures of princesses and dinosaurs..
