In this course students will review Primary/Junior math skills including:
- addition and subtraction
- multiplication and division
- skills related to the grade level the student is at
-Kindergarten - Grade 5/6 available
Class experience
US Grade 2 - 5
In this class the subjects may change to suit the age/needs of the learner. For example a Grade 1 Learner will focus on: - addition numbers 1-10 - addition numbers 1-20 - subtraction numbesr 1-10 - subtraction numbers 1-20 - using a ten frame - building 10 - patterns - easy word problems - using math helpers - Using Place Value - Introducing coins and coin value As well as: - What is a noun? - What is a verb? - What is an adjective? - What is a pronoun? - Capitalization - Early reading...
All learners are welcome. This class can be accommodated for all learners. I use lots of positive reinforcement. I can use a visual schedule and reward system if needed.
