I have taught ELA and Literature to diverse populations for over 18 years. Fluency, speeches, and communication are active skills required in my classroom and profession.

General, ESL, and Neurodivergent Learners; I am certified in the State of Texas in the following areas:
~ I am ELA certified in the State of Texas for grades 4th through 8th.
~ I am certified as a generalist in Early Childhood - 4th Grade.
~ I am certified in ESL for grades Early Childhood - 12th Grade.
~ I am certified in Special Education for grades Early Childhood - 12th Grade.

In addition to a long career in education, I am an online writer for various websites. I have a background in corporate management, international sales, and grant writing; I have worked as a project director for a federally funded non-profit organization. Therefore, I have extensive experience conducting and analyzing the interview process and the production of oral presentations. 

Personal experience
As a parent of a son with autism, I am aware of the many needs and characteristics of diverse learners. I am bilingual in Spanish/English and am sensitive to the articulation challenges in ESL learners.
