In this ongoing class, students will learn essential concepts that help them to be successful within the classroom! We will have fun learning through videos and student involved activities!

Week of December 18th:: Letters Aa and Bb, Numbers 1 and 2
Week of December 25th: (we will do be swapping Monday with Friday for this week) Letters Cc and Dd Numbers 3 and 4. 
Week of January 1st: (we will swap Monday and Friday for this week) Letters Ee and Ff, Numbers 5 and 6. 
Week of January 8th : Letters Gg and Hh, Numbers 7 and 8. 
Week of January 15th : Letters Ii and Jj, Numbers 9 and 10.
Week of January 22nd :  Letters Kk and Ll, Numbers 11 and 12. 
Week of January 29th: letters Mm and Nn, Numbers 13 and 14



In this ongoing class, students will learn essential concepts that help them to be successful within the classroom! We will have fun learning through videos and student involved activities! 

Class will begin with a greeting/hello. Students will have the opportunity to respond to a question that I ask them! From that point we will go into our calendar time, we will go through days of the week, months of the year, and move our yesterday/today, tomorrow chart). I will then go into what the weather is/season. From there we will go into our primary focus which is the letter of the day. We will learn about the sounds, how to write the letter and have an activity to complete together! Then we will move into our number of the week, we will count, write, and find the number. Every week we will focus on 2 letters and 2 numbers for our lecture time. The first letter/number will be introduced on the first day of class for the week and the second number/letter will be introduced on the last day of class for the week! We will always review at the beginning of class to ensure students are retaining the information! 

Parents, I will have a SeeSaw set up for class, this is online platform that allows me to assign “homework” for the child to do on their own to help retain the information. This is not mandatory and will not be taking for a grade, it is just a helpful resource! I will have weekly lesson plans posted on Sunday of every week, so we know exactly what we are focusing on for the week! 

After the class is over the students are welcome to stay on for a few minutes or peers to help them with their social skills! 

After class students are welcome to visit the classroom (google) where there will be worksheets, videos, and material for the week! This is all optional)
I will also have a packet that can be printed out to be used during calendar time, these are great for lamination and with velcro to be able to follow along with me while I move my calendar items!
