Class Experience

In this ongoing loop class, we will meet once a week. If you take this course consecutively you could finish these lessons in about 10 weeks. This class is set on a loop rotation, and you can join at any time because it does not build each week.
 What we will learn:
• (week 1) 02/25 My Family
• (week 2) 03/4 My Toys
• (week 3) 03/11 Weather
•	( week 4) 03/18 Days of The Week
•	( week 5) 03/25 Colors
• (week 6) 04/1 Numbers
•	(week 7) 04/8 Fruit
•	(week 8) 04/15 Vegetables
•	(week 9) 04/22 My Face
•	(week 10) 04/29 My Body

The class order will be as follows:
	We will begin each class learning a Spanish welcoming song with Dora and Boots
	I will then go over our vocabulary of the day
	I will use flashcards and other visual aids to help with the students understanding of the vocabulary
	We will then learn a song or poem to help with memorizing our new vocabulary words
	I will then do a game to assess their memorization of the new vocabulary of the day
	We will end class with a Spanish goodbye song with Dora and Boots

Students will learn basic Spanish vocabulary, Spanish greetings, and simple sentence structure. I will use methods such as songs, games, visuals, and flashcards to help the students engage and interact in the lessons. I will also use Dora and boots props to sing along and help in engaging the students in the class. I will provide worksheets at the end of each week for students to work on with their parents. This will help them maintain all they have learned during the lessons. My goal is that these classes will help in laying a great foundation for speaking Spanish.
