This one-time, interactive class is designed for preschoolers to explore oceans while learning preschool skills through a story, song, dance, rhyme, game and socialization.

In my interactive but structured circle time, I will teach, Social Skills: * Waiting our turn * Raising our hand * Respecting ourselves, teacher and others Language Fluency: * Sing a song about Five Little Fishes * Listen to a poem about all the ocean creatures big and small * Explore the letters that spell the word ocean Math Fluency: * Count the ocean creatures * Predict the next ocean creature in a pattern * Discuss the sizes of different ocean creatures Science: * Explore the difference zones of the ocean and what animals live there * Explore the parts of a shark * Explore the attributes of water * Predict what things might float or sink in water Self-Awareness: * Explore feelings as we listen to an interactive story about a Pout-Pout Fish Discussion: * What is the ocean? * How many oceans are there? * Why are the oceans important to us? I will teach these subjects through stories, rhymes, songs, and science discussions. I will teach the preschoolers how to use the zoom functions as they learn to raise their hands and be called upon. Your preschooler will only needs to bring their love for learning!
Learning Goals
Preschoolers will gain better language fluency and math fluency through literature, games, songs, and class discussions. I will model first then encourage the learner's voluntary participation. I have taught many age groups and many abilities. I understand the importance of meeting a learner where they are in their learning process.

I have taught preschool in the classroom for 10 years. I have been a Girl Scout leader for 15 years. I have homeschooled my own children. And lastly, I have been a Sunday school teacher for K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grades for 18 years.
