Preschool Singing Time- Fall Flex Edition

Join me for a six week flex class as we sing new and old songs and nursery rhymes. This class is a flex class delivered through a video each week. The video is hosted through Outschool as an unlisted YouTube link.
Through out the video lesson we will add rhythm and movement to get your child's whole body involved. I will encourage the children to learn the new songs. Children are welcome to sing or listen. I will encourage the children to follow along and copy the actions for each song.

Exposing children to music and singing at a young age helps their brain development. It increases their ability to use language and gets them ready for reading. English language learners may benefit from this class. Moving to music helps students develop their gross motor skills. Identifying rhythms and patterns in music helps children get ready for math. But lets not forget, music is just fun!! #creative

Students will interact with the teacher and the other students by answering questions about the weeks topic, and making videos sharing what they have learned about singing. Students can share videos of themselves singing the songs we learn in class.

In this course we will sing classic children's songs, letter and number songs, and songs about a the lesson's theme. We will sing old and new songs that cover different topics that interest children.

The course will follow this outline:
1. Welcome song 
2. Songs covering the topic of the week
3. Counting and letter songs
4. Classic nursery songs. 

The topic for each lesson are as follows:
Lesson One: Introduction and Friends
Lesson Two: It's time for school
Lesson Three: Let's fly a kite
Lesson Four: I like to eat fruit
Lesson Five: Fall and Pumpkins
Lesson Six: I am Thankful
