Preschool Sight Word Frenzy

What are sight words?
Sight words and high-frequency words are common words that appear frequently in written texts. These words are often not easily decodable using regular phonetic rules and are usually memorized by sight. Sight words are important for early readers because they make up a significant portion of the words they encounter in their reading materials. These words are often taught in early literacy programs and are emphasized in early reading instruction. By recognizing sight words automatically, children can read more fluently and with greater comprehension.

In every class, your child will practice 4 different Pre-K sight words by playing games. There will be a different theme each week. 

During the class ,the 4 sight words are seen and repeated many times during the class so that learners become familiar with recognizing them and reading them by themselves. A bonus word is included and will go along with the theme of the class. The theme will also be seen and talked about throughout the class in a positive and friendly environment.  A worksheet will be provided for each class and can be completed before class or after class for extra practice. This is a teacher-created game using screen sharing during class, no other materials are needed.
