Preschool Poetry Party
In this ongoing course, we will read child-appropriate poetry together and reflect through drawing.
What's included
1 live meeting
25 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
In this one-going class, children will be exposed to age-appropriate poetry. We will read a few poems together and discuss how it makes us feel. Some will be silly, some will be serious, and all are guaranteed to bring smiles! After reading the poetry, learners will process their experiences by drawing what they see or feel in their imaginations. Listening to poetry at a young age develops early literacy skills as they experience the rhythm and sounds of the spoken word. Poetry increases emotional literacy by helping children experience the world from the poet's point of view.
