Students will experience a well-rounded program which includes singing, dancing, recognizing musical notes and instruments, conducting, composing, and ear training in a fun and interactive setting.

I have currently completed my 21st year of teaching at a private independent school in Indiana. Our school is ranked in the top 20 percent of schools in the United States. I have been teaching music for 25 years in both public and private schools, Montessori environments, park district programs, and as a private tutor. 

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University, and professional training in Kindermusik and Suzuki Violin School. I am a member of several professional organizations, and have taken classes on musical technology, encouraging creative expression, social/emotional learning, flipped classroom, and engaging students in the classroom.

Assessment will be observational at this age primarily. Occasionally there will be extra attachments to print out for more optional  enrichment at home.
