In this weekly class we will sing songs and have the opportunity to share a toy with the class. Check the schedule to see what the theme is. Dance party, jungle animals, unicorns, trains and dinosaurs are just a few.
Class experience
This ongoing class will be action-packed with a lot of opportunity for movement. Each week we will talk about a different animal, vehicle or a place to visit. Fish, Birds, Firetrucks, Trains, The Zoo and The Farm Students will have the opportunity to bring a stuffed animal that pertains to the weekly theme and will be given an opportunity to share with the class about their animals and vehicles. This class is taught in English.
Based on the understanding that children learn best through play, the focus is on being involved and having fun. The kids don't even realize how much they are learning! Early music concepts involving tempo and rhythm will be taught as well as other important pre-school concepts such as turn taking, sharing, colours, simple counting and using their words. Children will see their own potential and growth in self-esteem, as well as in their appreciation of each other. Each week we will have a different theme. The songs and dances will revolve around the theme of the week. Check the course description for what the theme will be for the week.
