Students will be introduced to the days of the week and months of the year, and the weather Students will be introduced to shapes, numbers, colors, and patterns. Students will be able to identify shapes, numbers, colors, and count to 20. Students will watch video clips and respond to questions. Students will view the lesson on PowerPoint slides. Students will be asked to identify their shapes, numbers, colors, and numbers. Students will watch videos about shapes, numbers, colors, and counting.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about how many days are in a week and how many months are in a year. Students will be learning numbers 1-10 and they will be learning basic shapes such as triangle, square, star, heart, oval, rhombus, and rectangle. Students will learn how to identify AB, ABB, AAB patterns. We will also review basic colors such as blue, red, orange, pink, purple, green, black, brown.

Hello to all, I am excited about teaching every unique child that I cross paths with. My specialty is pre-k which of course is the foundation for all children before entering into the upper grade levels. I have been teaching for 10 years. I worked as a pre-k teacher for three years, a kindergarten assistant for 2 years, and I also work with special need children. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in Early childhood education. I obtained my bachelor's degree from Ashford University and my master's degree from Grand Canyon University. I believe that no matter what culture or background a child come from they can learn. I believe in embracing every child learning style. In my spare time I like singing in the mirror pretending like I am on American Idol.
