In this winter camp, students will learn about French greetings and introduction, colors, shapes, animals, etc. This class is designed for students who are beginners in French (no experience), but learners with a little bit of experience in French are welcome. Here is the schedule for the course: Week 1: Greetings & Winter Animals We will learn a few greeting words and learn about various winter animals. Then, students will do a show and tell. Week 2: Winter Vocabulary Students will learn a few winter theme words (snow, snowman, etc.) and then we will do a winter craft. Week 3: Winter Clothes Students will learn about winter clothes. Then, students will do a worksheet. Week 4: Winter sports & activities Students will learn about winter sports & activities. Then, students will do a game of bingo. For each class, I will be using a Powerpoint that has important information on a different slide so students can recognize the various keywords or elements. The class will focus on key vocabulary. Students will be able to pronounce various words as they will be asked to repeats. I will provide flashcard for the students to review the vocabulary after class as supplemental activities. Also, based on how fast students interact, class might end one minute or two earlier especially if I noticed that students are getting tired. Additionally, due to Outschool policy, I will ask that students identify themselves on camera at the beginning of the session and they must have a working microphone to be able to partake in the lesson.
