US Grade Preschool - Pre-Kindergarten
Beginner Level
😃 In this ongoing, interactive, and FUN preschool circle time class students will learn all of the pre-kindergarten objectives to prepare them for Kindergarten. Students will learn these concepts through the use of google slides, props, songs and poems, games, and interaction. This class is designed so that you may join at any time. 🔤 Each week we will focus on one letter and one number as well as colors, shapes, counting, phonological awareness, phonics, handwriting, sight words, and show and tell! Although we have a letter focus each week, we will still review the entire alphabet each reading day so that students are being exposed to ALL letters. 📚Order of Class Each class will begin with a greeting and calendar time. We will then focus on Reading & Writing or Math depending on the day. 1️⃣ Day 1 of the week will focus on Reading and Writing Skills: letters, sounds, phonics, handwriting, phonological awareness, sight words, concepts of print and much more. 2️⃣ Day 2 of the week will focus on Math Concepts: numbers, counting, and other preschool math skills such as patterns, shapes, sorting, positional words, graphing and much more. Math days may also include a review of our reading and writing concepts from that week. 📄 Pencils, crayons, paper, OR a dry erase board with markers MAY be needed during class. Review weeks and Story and Craft days are built into the schedule below. At times our class may touch on secular holidays during calendar, story time, or crafts. ✏️ After class please visit the classroom to find optional materials to continue the learning at home! I will provide a PDF with additional worksheets, crafts, video links, and fun activities to reinforce what we are learning in class. If you have any questions, please send me a message!
