I will be giving your student an overview of the importance of strong public speaking skills and how it will apply as they grow older. Through a combination of teacher-prepared slides and one-on-one discussion and interaction, your student will learn how to prepare, step-by-step, for an upcoming public presentation. I'll share the secrets I use to overcome my fears before walking on stage or making an audio or video recording. They'll learn the basic structure of a good speech. Finally, they will practice introducing themselves and giving a 10 sentence description of themselves during their coaching session. If additional, more tailored & detailed tips are needed, a 2nd class meeting can be arranged.
