Week 1Lesson 1Create Your ResumeLearners will be given a step-by-step tutorial on how to create a resume. They will create their own resume. Learners will also be given important tips on how to make their resume look professional.Lesson 2Create a Cover LetterLearners will be given a step-by-step tutorial on how to create a cover letter. Learners will learn important information to include in a cover letter. They will create their own cover letter. Learners will also learn tips on how to make their cover letter stand out to a potential employer.Lesson 3Design Answers to Common Interview QuestionsLearners will be given a list of common interview questions. They will learn what responses employers are looking for in each question. Learners will write their own responses to each question.Lesson 4Mock InterviewLearners will participate in a mock interview. Each learner will be asked a few interview questions. Learners will be given positive feedback on their responses, and they will be given tips on how to improve their responses. Learners will also learn important interview etiquette.

After class, learners may decide to make changes to their resume or cover letter. This class does not guarantee the learner will find employment immediately. This class will help the learner to begin preparing for the application and interview process.
