This four week course will help learners understand the difference between predictions, inferences and conclusions in stories.

Students will learn the difference between predictions, inferences, and conclusions in stories.  
My goal is to encourage lifelong readers and writers. I am an OutSchool ACE Educator with a background in Educational Psychology.  I believe learning takes place with attention, relevance, memory and prior knowledge. My sessions will include animation for attention; discussion  for relevance; interactive activities to enhance memory and online resources to utilize prior knowledge.  R2D2 (read, reflect, do and display) is also incorporated to provide learners with a life-long learning strategy. 
Homework Offered
Student will complete a presentation that illustrates their understanding of the topic. A rubric outline will be available in Google Classroom.
Assessments Offered
A peer review of the final project will be used as an informal assessment.
