Algebra 1. Very Small Group.
Class experience
US Grade 7 - 10
Beginner - Advanced Level
Very, very small group of 3 to 5 students. My group size is smaller than nearly every other Algebra 1 group class available on Outschool. Based on my 18 years of teaching experience, I believe it is best for students to learn in a very small group in order to allow ample opportunity for interaction and questions. Students attend 4 hours of live on-line classes with me each week. When compared to other Outschool group classes, my Algebra Crash Courses provide more hours of live class per week...

Homework Offered
Every week, I provide problem sets for students to complete on their own as homework. Problem sets are meant to take about 4 to 6 hours per week outside of class time.4+ hours per week outside of class

I provide packages of problem sets for students to complete outside of class each week. If you have a tablet and stylus or pen, please have that ready for class so that you can write and interact during the lesson. If you don't have a tablet, it is not mandatory and class is still fun and interactive and very effective without it. If you would like to purchase a tablet, this is the inexpensive one I recommend. It uses USB so you need a computer with a USB port (the Macbook Air does not have a USB port). The tablet is optional and not mandatory. Here are the US and Canadian Amazon links for the Wacom tablet I recommend: https://www.amazon.com/Wacom-Drawing-Software-Included-CTL4100/dp/B079HL9YSF/ref=sr_1_3?crid=3IATSZYVSTRY3&keywords=wacom&qid=1665503442&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI0LjQ5IiwicXNhIjoiNC4wMSIsInFzcCI6IjMuNDgifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=wacom%2Caps%2C168&sr=8-3 https://www.amazon.ca/Wacom-Graphic-Drawing-Beginners-Compatible/dp/B07S1RR3FR/ref=sr_1_8?crid=1XJC5HJ1OEGKZ&keywords=wacom&qid=1665503486&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI0LjA2IiwicXNhIjoiMy43NSIsInFzcCI6IjMuMTYifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=wacom%2Caps%2C292&sr=8-8
