In this ongoing class learners will master their alphabet with fun and engaging activities. Children learn through play and movement so we will be incorporating that in every class. We will work on one letter a week and will be using the Zoophonics multisensory learning program I am certified in. This program is excellent for young learners and uses animals and signals to help out brains connect letters and their sounds! We will also be using simple process art to help us really help our memories and minds. I will provide any resources that are needed in this class besides art materials or anything that can not be printed or downloaded by you. For example I will post the letters we are using for art that week on our classroom page. Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Ms. Maisie and my students love to have fun with that name and call me Ms. Crazy whenever I do something goofy! (which happens a lot!) I have been teaching Pre-K and after school programs for elementary students for 9 years now and absolutely love it! Here on outschool I teach a fun and engaging Pre-k "Circle Time" class where we will sing, dance, read and more on our way to learning our alphabet sounds, numbers, shapes and whatever our minds can think up. I strongly believe the early childhood years are the most important and that learning occurs the best through play. Class should be fun and no one should be made to sit still! I hope to see you soon.
