In this lesson, students will define constant of proportionality and learn when it is used.
Lesson 2
Graphs and Tables of Proportional Relationships
In this lesson, students will analyze and interpret the constant of proportionality in graphs and tables.
 Week 2
Lesson 3
Equations of Proportional Relationships
In this lesson, students will analyze and interpret the constant of proportionality in equations.
Lesson 4
Writing and solving proportional relationships
In this lesson, students will right and solve proportions from word problems.
This class is taught in English.
  • Students will learn to recognize and analyze constant of proportionality in graphs, tables, and equations.
I have a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of South Florida. I have experience teaching Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry in a public Middle School. I have 10+ years of experience as a math tutor for ages 11 to 18.

Details: Students will be informally assessed during class with practice problems and will have the opportunity to submit short homework assignments.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Khan Academy will be used during class as I share my screen and optional homework will be assigned on Khan Academy. An account is not required for students to access the assignments.
