US Grade 4 - 7
This Pre-Algebra class is a great introduction or review for proportional relationships. This class will introduce learners to slope as we study tables, graphs, and equations together. We will define the math terms as well as introduce how to analyze proportional relationships. Students will be provided with guided notes and interactive practice problems. Our class will include group discussions and opportunities for students to showcase their learning through the Zoom annotate feature. Students should be able to perform basic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Session 1: Introducing constant of proportionality and vocab terms Session 2: Graphs and Tables of proportional relationships Session 3: Equations of proportional relationships Session 4: Writing and solving proportional relationships
Learning Goals
Students will learn to recognize and analyze constant of proportionality in graphs, tables, and equations.
