Using live baby ducks, this one-time class will teach young learners the basics about ducks: where they come from, what parts they have, what they eat, what they can do. Class will be interactive with lots of questions and answers. Students will also identify parts of a duck on the worksheet provided. Class is structured as follows: Student introductions Parts of a duck with live duckling Brief slide show with duck information Duck part identification worksheet time This class is seasonal, and will only run during the duckling hatching season! Learning Goals
Students will learn basic facts about ducks. Students will also review parts of a duck by filling in the provided worksheet.

Students will need to bring the duck part identification worksheet and a drawing utensil to class. Learners may color this sheet, if desired.
