Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - 1
Using live baby goslings, this one-time class will teach young learners the basics about geese: what parts they have, different types of geese, what they eat, what they can do. Class will be interactive with lots of questions and answers. Students will also draw a goose using simple geometric shapes.

Class will be structured as follows:
Student introductions
Parts of a goose with live gosling
Brief slide show with goose information
Guided, step-by-step drawing time

This class is seasonal, and will only run during the very short spring gosling season!

Learning Goals

Students will learn basic facts about geese. Students will also review circle and triangle shapes as they draw a goose of their own.

Profile
Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been raising geese for nearly a decade. The best time of year is baby gosling time. I am happy to share the joy of sassy little peepers with learners.
