Learn about baby chickens with an interactive story book reading and drawalong activity! This one-time class will center around baby farm animals, focusing on chickens. Supplemented with plush animals, we will have an interactive question-and-answer time about chickens, eggs, nesting, chicks, and baby farm animals. Finally, we will draw a chick together, step-by-step. We will read the book "Are You Brooding?" by Steph and Vivi Allosso (a homeschool mom and her seven-year-old daughter) which tells the story of Gladys the chicken and her eggs. As we read, we will learn and discuss the different farm animals in the book. We will also talk about some chicken terms, and meet the chicks after they hatch. This class does not feature live animals.
