Class Experience

This is a follow up course to Potions 1-10. I recommend taking Potions 1-10 first, but students may start with this course if they are 11 or older. Students under 9 may take this course if they have completed Potions 1-10. Each class contains a discussion, lecture, and a potion.

We will begin with a review of potions year one, and we will learn how to make a liquid Nox potion. Florean Fortescue will visit Hogwarts to teach us to make our our ice cream as we learn more about matter. Make a density draught in class three. Visit Honeydukes, and make an edible atom in meeting four. Study molecular changes as we make a streeler slime. Scare dementors away with a patronus potion, as we learn about molecules, bonds, and their behaviors. Make a bottled bubbling blob potion to learn about liquid molecular compounds. Learn about chemistry kinetics by making a Peruvian Instant Darkness Potion.

1) Nox potion. Year one review.
2) Florean's Ice Cream. Higher level matter.
3) Density Draught. Density.
