Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6
Beginner - Advanced Level
Welcome to the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Inclusive Weekly Gaming Club!

📣Trainers, gather your pokeballs and join us in our quest to complete the Pokedex, find shinies, and battle Pokémon in the Paldea region! Epic adventures await us, so be prepared with all your sandwich ingredients as we explore in the latest Pokémon game! Champion status is calling!

🤗 Students will come with their Nintendo Switch and a copy of the game ready to play and trade. Activities in this student-led class may include battling, trading, shiny hunting, and even hide and seek! Students especially love to show off their favorite Pokémon!

🏆As a member of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Inclusive Weekly Gaming Club, your child will be part of a supportive community of trainers. Our expert facilitators will guide them through the game, teaching them valuable strategies, techniques, and tips to succeed. Your child will have the opportunity to collaborate with their peers, fostering teamwork and communication skills as they navigate challenges together.

🥳Smaller class sizes guarantee quality attention given to each individual! It is so important to us that your child feels seen and heard in their social club, so we don't have huge classes. We want a close, tight-knit community of friends, not a giant lecture hall of students. Everyone is welcome in this class even if they are slightly outside of the recommended age range.

🏳️‍🌈All of our teachers welcome and accept children who are neurodivergent, neurotypical, a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, gamers, non-gamers, and even the occasional unicorn. Everyone is welcome in our classes. Everyone is accepted.

📝 Course Requirements:
To participate, your child will need a computer with a strong internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone. Additionally, they will require a copy of either Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet for the Nintendo Switch console.

⚠️ It's important to note that in order to fully participate in trading and battling with other trainers, your child will need a Nintendo Switch Online membership. This additional feature enhances their gameplay experience by allowing them to connect with trainers from around the world, fostering cultural awareness and friendship.
