Description
Class Experience
In this one-time class students will take turns playing a Pokemon memory math game which will provide an introduction into the 6 times tables. Students will be provided a printout before class that we will work on together and will help them throughout the class. This class offers a way to teach the beginning concepts of multiplication in a fun, relaxed kind of way. While individually taking turns to identify pairs, students will also have the opportunity to work together and help each other...
Students will learn/practice/review their 6 times tables while also flexing their memory muscles. They will learn how to encourage each other and how to participate in team based problem solving. They will also be able to share to the group about their favorite characters and/or games enhancing their group speaking skills.
I will provide a printout before class.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
