US Grade Kindergarten - 3
In this class, the goal is to improve handwriting by encouraging writing in a fun way and giving practice to drawing specific letters in the correct size and space on the lines. We also discuss each entry, read aloud, learn new vocabulary words, practice spelling, and focus on specific letters that will be used in each entry. Children write in 2 sizes, both child standard and large ruled. There will be tracing sheets and independent writing sheets provided. We will go through 3 - 5 Pokedex entries each session and students can practice their skills by adding additional facts about the Pokemon. This way, students learn more about their favorite pokemon, their abilities, and strategies for beating the games as well as get an additional hour of English, Language Arts, and Writing practice each week.
