✔ It’s important to me to give you a quality, fun, 5-STAR experience every time

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
If you aren't sure about your poetry skills, I urge you to try this class. Poetry isn't like other types of writing. It's very stylistic, and that's why perfect grammar, for example, isn't required. Because of this, sometimes a self-proclaimed "average" writer makes a great poet! It's been my experience that the most hesitant kids turn out to be the surprise talents. I speak from experience as I was one of those kids.
Learning Goals
Students will understand the purpose of figurative language in poetry and be able to use examples in their writing.
